What is Featured Section?

A pinned showcase near the top of your profile for posts, links, and documents you want every visitor to see.

The Featured section is a visual shelf near the top of your profile where you pin your best evidence: posts you have published, articles, external links, and uploaded documents or media. Unlike feed content, which scrolls away within days, Featured stays put, so it works like a small portfolio for anyone deciding whether to reply, interview, or hire you. Strong uses include a case study, a recorded talk or interview, a project page, a piece of writing that shows how you think, or the one post that best explains what you do. Weak uses include random reposts and links that died two redesigns ago. Keep it to a handful of items, lead with the strongest, and refresh it when your positioning changes. Each item renders a thumbnail and title, so favor links that produce a clean preview. If nothing represents you well yet, publishing one solid post and pinning it beats leaving the shelf empty while you wait for perfect material.
