What is LinkedIn Premium?

LinkedIn's paid subscription tiers, adding features like InMail, profile view insights, and LinkedIn Learning.

LinkedIn Premium is the umbrella name for LinkedIn's paid subscriptions. The individual tiers, Premium Career and Premium Business, add features such as InMail credits, expanded views of who viewed your profile, LinkedIn Learning access, and extra insights on jobs and companies. Separate products for selling and hiring, Sales Navigator and Recruiter, sit above them with their own tooling, and prices vary by region and change over time, so check LinkedIn directly for current numbers rather than trusting any article. What Premium does not do matters just as much: it does not boost your posts in the feed, and paying does not raise your ranking in other people's searches. The honest purchase question is whether specific features pay for themselves in your specific situation, such as InMail for outreach you cannot make otherwise, or applicant and company insights during an active job hunt. Many job seekers subscribe during a search and cancel afterward, and LinkedIn periodically offers free trials, which remain the cheap way to find out.
